National Nonprofit Day of Action 2026
Monday, August 17th, 2026, marks National Nonprofit Day of Action, an initiative created by the National Council of Nonprofits to honor the vital role nonprofit organizations play in strengthening communities across the country.
Local nonprofits provide a wide range of critical services that make a lasting impact on the lives of millions. At Lumbility, we’re proud of our commitment to delivering essential services through our Adult Services (Employment Services, Enrichment Services, & Assistive Technology Program) and our Kidsteps Birth to Three Program.
This day is not only about recognizing our amazing staff and supporters. It is a reminder of the importance of advocacy. Nonprofits remain essential in our communities, yet many face challenges. It’s crucial that we continue to raise our voices and remind Congress and policymakers that nonprofits are not just helpful; they are necessary.
