Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month 2025

This March, Lumibility is proud to celebrate Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month (DDAM) with the campaign “We’re Here All Year.” The campaign emphasizes that community, accessibility, and opportunities for people with developmental disabilities should be recognized and championed every day. This recognition should not happen only in March.
Established in 1987 by President Ronald Reagan, Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month highlights the importance of fostering a society where people with disabilities are empowered. They should be able to contribute to their communities. While March provides an opportunity for heightened awareness, true awareness happens when we commit to creating accessible environments. We must also create productive opportunities year-round.
At Lumibility, we are committed to promoting inclusion, advocacy, and empowerment every day. Join us in celebrating DDAM and working toward a more accessible and inclusive future for all. Learn how to get involved and support Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month and the “We’re Here All Year” campaign.
