Gianna Keeps Working Toward Her Bakery Dream!

Gianna, a dedicated individual in our Individualized Supported Employment Program, is making sweet strides in her career as a baker at Shayna B’s By The Sea. Her passion for baking continues to grow through hands-on training at The Kitchen at Futures Inc.. There, she’s refining her skills and exploring new techniques.

She’s working toward launching her very own business! With support from our staff, she’s currently developing a mock business plan. This includes crafting a unique name, writing catchy slogans, learning the basics of marketing, and even designing her own menu.

Her journey is a beautiful example of how passion, support, and opportunity can come together to empower individuals to pursue their dreams through a program like this.

What Is Our Individualized Supported (ISE) Program?

Individualized Supported Employment (ISE) services are programs designed for individuals who are ready to secure and maintain competitive employment. Once an individual secures meaningful employment, they will transition to receiving “on-the-job support” from an Employment Specialist. As their confidence grows and they become more proficient in the new job, their on-the-job support will be adjusted. This adjustment reflects your increasing independence in the role, supported by the Individualized Program.
