Lera’s Update at the Ronald McDonald House!

Last June, we introduced you to Lera, an individual in our Individualized Supported Employment (ISE) program who volunteers every Thursday at the Ronald McDonald House in New Haven, which provides accommodation to individuals with chronic medical conditions who cannot afford hospital stays. She originally assisted with cleaning and maintaining a tidy environment for families staying there.

Now, Lera has taken her commitment even further by including lunch prep in her weekly routine! From organizing meals to ensuring families have nourishing food, her efforts truly make a difference for those facing challenging times.
