Your generosity will support:
- Parents seeking answers for their baby or toddler’s developmental delays.
- Families facing uncertainty about what’s next for their young adult after high school.
- Adults finding meaningful, fulfilling employment that they enjoy.
- Neighbors striving for greater independence who need assistive devices.
Impact Stories

Meet Steven!
When Steven started with Lumibility programs when he was living with his guardian. With encouragement and support from the Adult Services team, he now lives a more independent life in a group home and is thriving socially with his peers! He enjoys volunteering with the horses at High Hopes in Old Lyme through Lumibility. Some other fun facts about Steven are that he has won gold, silver, and bronze in the Special Olympics for snowshoeing! Steven likes to help his peers as well as the Lumibility staff. He is also great with maps and will help you if you get lost. He is full of ideas, loves to joke around, and we look forward to cheering him on in the Special Olympics Summer Games.
Meet Kylee!
“Kylee was born premature and had neonatal abstinence syndrome. He had low birth weight and began with Kidsteps at two months old. He was struggling with sitting up on his own and crawling. We were given strategies by the Kidsteps team to help him sit up and crawl and learned to walk by 18 months. He is running now! A doctor told me recently that Kylee is two months advanced for his age in motor and learning skills. He is using a lot of words to express himself, and his very favorite song is “Wheels on the Bus.” Thanks to the Kidsteps team for being supportive and a part of our family.”

Meet Jessica!
Jessica has been a valued team member at Saybrook Point Resort & Marina since 2022. During her time in the Transitional Program, Jessica demonstrated a strong work ethic and commitment by volunteering and taking on a wide range of cleaning responsibilities throughout the hotel. She was quickly recognized for her dedication and attention to detail. As a result of her hard work, Jessica was offered a paid position as a room attendant.
Your gift today will create 2x opportunities and foster positive change for individuals of all abilities.
