National Nonprofit Day of Action 2026

Monday, August 17th, 2026, marks National Nonprofit Day of Action, an initiative created by the National Council of Nonprofits to honor the vital role nonprofit organizations play in strengthening communities across the country.

Local nonprofits provide critical services that make a lasting impact on the lives of millions. At Lumibility, we’re proud of our commitment to delivering essential services through our Adult Services and Kidsteps Birth to Three programs.

Most of all, this day is an opportunity to thank our hardworking staff, whose dedication, compassion, and commitment make our mission possible every day. Their work strengthens our community and helps ensure that children, adults, and families receive the essential support they need.

As we celebrate their work, we also recognize the importance of continuing to raise our voices so Congress and policymakers understand the need to protect and support nonprofits and the communities they serve.
