Representative Joe Courtney’s Visit to Lumibility!

This morning, we had the honor of welcoming Representative Joe Courtney to Lumibility’s Westbrook location. His visit focused on the critical impact of Medicaid cuts on our Birth to Three Early Intervention Program, Kidsteps.

Representative Courtney engaged in meaningful conversations with both staff and families, hearing firsthand how Kidsteps has supported children with intellectual and developmental delays. He also had the opportunity to tour the Westbrook Enrichment Program, showcasing the essential work we do not only for children but also for adults in our Enrichment, Employment, and Assistive Technology programs.

We’re grateful to Representative Courtney for taking the time to speak with both families and staff, and for offering a meaningful opportunity to witness the incredible work you all do each day to “enhance skills and transform lives of individuals with differing abilities.”
